THSADA Whataburger Scholar Athlete Scholarship Award

Whataburger and THSADA announce that applications for the 2025 Whataburger-THSADA Scholar-Athlete Scholarship are now open.

$4,000.00 award to one female student-athlete

$4,000.00 award to one male student-athlete

Deadline to Submit Your Application: May 5th 2025

• The District Athletic Director or a sport Head Coach must be an Active member of THSADA 
• Scholarship is a one-time Fall Award 
• Two winners will be announced in mid-April. 
• Winners will be publicized through THSADA newsletter, e-mail, eNews and web site.  

THSADA-Whataburger Scholar Athlete Award was initially launched to recognize exceptional student athletes who perform well in the classroom as well as on the field. The scholarships will recognize the distinguished scholastic, leadership and sportsmanship attributes of high school student-athletes, and the importance of high school athletics in each student’s life. A scholar-athlete award is given to one female athlete and one male athlete.
